Energy Crisis of the 70s Remembered

It was 1974; the United States was trying to cope with soaring energy prices triggered by an oil embargo in the wake of the 1973 Arab-Israeli war. President Richard Nixon proposed, and Congress passed a national 55 miles per hour speed limit to reduce gasoline consumption. With energy prices again setting records, Congress is again considering setting a national speed limit. Mal Leary has our report.
